8.1.11.1. Delete between intersections

The program enables you to delete the section of an element between the intersections (or endpoints) nearest to the selected point. If the element does not have or has only one intersection with other elements, this command corresponds to the delete operation.

• Select the element to be deleted between its nearest intersections. The program immediately deletes that part of the element.

• Repeat the previous step if you want to delete further parts of the element, or

EnterEnds the command.

2You can activate the command in the following ways:

• By clickingthe Delete between intersections -icon in the Edit toolbar.

• When the mouse pointer is an arrow shape: hold the Ctrl and Shift keys and click an element, then the program deletes the section of the element that is between the intersections.
